Due to the fact that information regarding the compulsory 21 days Self Healing is becoming unclear, I hereon provides a detailed description regarding the what, why and how:

The very first time after attunement, practitioner will obtain energy without any form at all. By conducting 21 consecutive days of Self Healing, the energy of the practitioner will be formed in such ways that it becomes so synchronized with the health condition and physical biorythm of the practitioner; in case there is a «missed» day, it is best to restart the count from the first day to ensure that the synchronization process can be maximized.

If a practitioner performed healing on others before completing the compulsory 21 days, there is a big chance that a change in the form of the energy will occur, where the synchronization of the practitioner's energy will be somwhere between the practitioner's condition and the patient's condition, in fact if therapy on the patient is done more frequently, there is a possibility that the practitioner's energy will be completely formed in synchronization with the patient's condition. The problem in this is because energy already synchronized to a certain condition will become less effective for other conditions.

Example: a practitioner suffering from asthma and completed the compulsory 21 days Self Healing, will have the energy which will be more effective to heal illnesses related to breathing and stress, and less effective for other kinds of illnesses, such as diabetes. On the other hand, if the practitioner conduct therapy on a diabetic patient before completing the compulsory 21 days self healing, chances are the energy will become more effective for therapy of diabetes and other form of liver malfunction, compared to respiratory illnesses. This is why it often happen a condition where a practitioner already perform therapy to others before completing the compulsory 21 days, managed to heal many people but failed to heal his/her self.

If therapy on others have been conducted before completing the compulsory 21 days, or even «took the next grade», the solution is as follows:

- for level 1 and 2 practitioner, can request assistance from a practitioner of personal master level or higher, to perform «re-attunement»; the way to do this is the giver place both palm on the crown chakra of the receiver, with both palms facing downward, then transmit reiki energy with the affirmation «with the flowing of this energy, the form and frequency of the energy of [the name of the receiver] will be returned to the moment attunement was received for the first time. Keep the energy flowing until it feels «full».

- for a practitioner at the level of personal master or higher, can perform self re-attunement, by taking a sitting position, relax and lift both hands, placing both palms facing down on the crown chakra (exact direction is not  important, as long as the position is comfortable), then transmit reiki energy with the affirmation  «with the flowing of this energy, the form and frequency of the energy of mine will be returned to the moment attunement was received for the first time. Keep the energy flowing until it feels «full».

Please understand that the re-attunement process will neutralize the form and frequency of the energy but will not disturb the capacity, so after going through re-attunement, there is no need to repeat the attunement for second level and personal master level, just have to perform the compulsory 21 days Self Healing.

Also, even though this means a practitioner of personal master level can «change» his/her energy form to adjust with a certain illness, there has been no research conducted on the effect if re-attunement is conducted many times on the same person.
